Pacific Heart Institute is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients and staff. We have taken the necessary steps to adhere to LA County Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local and state regulations. We want you to feel comfortable and safe should you need to visit our office for urgent cardiac needs. We are also offering Telehealth Encounters as virtual visits for routine cardiac check-ups.
To confirm your appointment, a member of our staff will call asking if you have experienced any fevers, cold or flu-like symptoms, and signs of respiratory illness such as coughing. Should you have any of these symptoms, please contact your PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN or call your nearest URGENT CARE location.
If you are having any of the following CONCURRING CARDIAC symptoms, you may contact our office to speak with one of our Registered Nurses or Nurse Practitioners.
Shortness of Breath (SOB) at rest
Systolic Blood Pressure (top number) less than 90 mmHg or greater than 180 mmHg
Heart rate less that 50 bpm or greater than 120 bpm
Prior to entering our clinic, you will be also be screened for your temperature, underlying symptoms, and past travel. Thank you for your patience as we ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff.
