Dr. Soong graduated from University of Connecticut School of Medicine MD/PhD program in 2014. After an internal medicine residency at University of Connecticut School of Medicine, he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at University of Pennsylvania in 2020, a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Einstein Medical Center in 2021 and spent an extra year of fellowship in Vascular Medicine and Intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School Teaching Hospital in 2022.

His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, systemic and pulmonary hypertension, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, superficial venous disorders and vascular medicine. Dr. Soong serves as an interventional cardiovascular medicine specialist as well as a consultative cardiology.

 

Dr. Soong is also interested in learning about the latest research and innovations in biotechnology. His goal is to constantly incorporate new knowledge to his training and practice to help build a healthy and long lasting relationship with his patients and their loved ones.

 

His favorite thing to do is seeing and caring for his patients. When not doing so, he enjoys listening to audio books, music, spending time with family and friends traveling.
