Dr. Saarik Gupta is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist who joined Pacific Heart in 2025. He specializes in catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias as well as cardiac device implantation.

Dr. Gupta was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He completed an accelerated B.S./M.D. program at Kent State University and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). During that time he worked at the United States Senate, the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, and Cable News Network (CNN).

​

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. From there, he completed his cardiology fellowship at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis under the guidance of Dr. Eric Prystowsky. He then moved to Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center for his Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training.

He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, and Echocardiography. He is an active member of both the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.

In his free time, Dr. Gupta is a foodie and also enjoys traveling as well as spending time with his family.
