Francesca Cazzulino M.D. is a non-invasive cardiologist with specific interests in preventative cardiology, women’s cardiovascular health and cardiac imaging. She is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT imaging and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Cazzulino was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. She completed her undergraduate education at Oberlin College, receiving a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She received a Master of Public Health degree from UCLA and an M.D. from Michigan State University. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency training at UC San Diego before pursuing a fellowship in non-invasive cardiology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. During her medical training, she conducted research in cardiac risk factor evaluation and cardiac imaging.
With a patient-centered approach at the center of her practice, Dr. Cazzulino’s goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers her patients to take an active role in their health. She was drawn to cardiology because of the extensive diagnostic and therapeutic toolbox that cardiologists can use to improve and prolong their patients’ lives – however she believes that those tools are useless without a strong doctor-patient relationship. She is committed to staying at the forefront of cardiology advancements while ensuring that every patient feels heard, supported, and confident while under her care.
When she is not working, Dr. Cazzulino enjoys running on the beach, hiking, cooking and spending time with her husband and their daughter.
