Dr. Peter Pak practices consultative cardiology with emphasis on heart failure and cardiomyopathy.
After graduating from
Johns Hopkins University
with Honors in Biology then
Harvard Medical School
, he completed a medical residency at
Massachusetts General Hospital
and a cardiology fellowship at
Johns Hopkins Hospital
. Dr. Pak joined Pacific Heart Institute after serving two years on the Cardiomyopathy and Cardiac Transplant Faculty as Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is the author of many articles in highly respected, peer-reviewed cardiology journals.
Dr. Pak served as Director of Critical Care at
Saint John's Health Center
, and he is Chair of its Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
Having come from the east coast, Dr. Pak is glad to be living in sunny Southern California, where he can indulge in his favorite pastimes of hiking, birding, and photography.
