Dr. Zatzkis practiced cardiology in Santa Monica for more than 21 years. He passed away peacefully on October 24, 2007.

He was loved and respected by all those whose lives he touched. He cared deeply about his patients and spent countless hours, days and nights, delivering the highest quality of care to them. He had a unique capacity to connect empathically to his patients and their families.

We at Pacific Heart Institute respected him greatly as a phenomenal and compassionate physician.

As we observe the first anniversary of his passing, we remember and celebrate his life and the lives he touched. We sorely miss our friend and colleague.
